Caitlin Welsh, Erie native and Director of the Global Food Security Program at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) in Washington DC, gave a tour d’horizon of food security issues during the COVID-19 pandemic: from global agricultural trade to protecting the vulnerable in our communities to best practices for shopping at your own grocery store.

Caitlin Welsh was a presenter in the Jefferson's Global Summit IX Speaker Series, as she gave a lecture on "Feeding the World in the 21st Century".
