The Jefferson Educational Society is an institution unlike any other in Northwestern Pennsylvania – offering affordable opportunities to enrich one’s mind through lectures, luncheons, courses, seminars, and historical tours. Becoming a member of the Jefferson Educational Society of Erie promises to be a rewarding experience, as you will be supporting and encouraging Thomas Jefferson’s belief that an educated citizenry that shared its ideas through public discourse have the power to make a difference in the world. Membership benefits – which vary depending on your membership level – include free admission to JES term lectures, Global Summit tickets, Brock Institute Education lectures, Distinguished Visiting Speaker programs, and select JES publications.
The Jefferson Educational Society has set a goal of attaining 500 members this year, which would represent a 48% increase in membership from last year. Your generosity and support will allow the JES to continue to offer affordable learning experiences to the nearly 7,500 unique individuals who have attended our programs, promoting our mission to stimulate community progress.

Please note that the benefits received in the Associate, Patron, and Supporter levels exceed the cost of those memberships, and thus no portion is tax-deductible.
