Jefferson Educational Society Adds Gov. Tom Wolf to 2015’s Global Summit Lineup

Pennsylvania Governor will address Erie for the first time publicly since taking office

ERIE, PA. (Oct. 9, 2015) – The Jefferson Educational Society, Erie’s think tank for community progress located at 3207 State St., Erie, Pa. 16508, has added Gov. Tom Wolf to this year’s Global Summit VII series. Gov. Wolf will address Erie Sunday, Nov. 1 at 7:30 p.m. at Northwest Pennsylvania Collegiate Academy, located at 2825 State St., Erie, Pa. 16508.

“We are thrilled that Gov. Wolf has chosen The Jefferson Educational Society as the platform to engage in thoughtful civic dialogue with Erie citizens,” said Ferki Ferati, Jefferson Educational Society Vice President and Executive Director. “The governor joins an amazing list of speakers for this year’s event, and for Erie citizens to have this opportunity is something we’re incredibly proud to make happen.”

The Global Summit VII begins Monday, Oct. 26 and runs through Friday, Nov. 6. The addition of Gov. Wolf raises the total number of events to nine.

“Governor Wolf: Priorities for Pennsylvania” will be free and open to the public, but advanced registration is required.
