Timothy Bruno

Since February 2014, Mr. Bruno has served as Chief of the Office of the Great Lakes for the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection and is responsible for the coordination, implementation, and leadership of the Commonwealth’s Great Lakes water quality and watershed-related program and policy initiatives. Appointed by the Governor, Mr. Bruno serves as Commissioner and Head of the Pennsylvania Delegation to the Great Lakes Commission and serves on the Commission’s Board of Directors. He represents Governor Wolf to the Great Lakes Water Resources Compact Council and Regional Body. He obtained his master’s degree in Environmental Health and Engineering from Gannon University, where he also completed his bachelor’s degree in Political Science.
