The Most Rev. Sean W. Rowe is the Presiding Bishop and Primate of The EpiscopalChurch, elected in 2024 and serving as the church's chief pastor and CEO. Recognizedfor his expertise in organizational learning and adaptive change, he is focused onstrengthening local ministry and mission across the church. Rowe was ordainedbishop of the Episcopal Diocese of Northwestern Pennsylvania in 2007 after serving asrector of St. John's Episcopal Church in Franklin, Pennsylvania. He has also served asbishop provisional of the Episcopal Diocese of Bethlehem and helped lead apartnership between the Episcopal Dioceses of Northwestern Pennsylvania andWestern New York. He holds degrees from Grove City College, Virginia TheologicalSeminary, and Gannon University
