How is Erie faring under the Federal Reserve's monetary policy? Do Erie renters fare better than elsewhere in the U.S.? If you are interested in Erie County's economic trends and developments, join this community conversation with Dr. Ken Louie, Director of ERIE, the Economic Research Institute of Erie at Penn State Behrend. Louie highlights trends and brings meaning to statistics and data so that the local community better understands the regional economy and its linkages to the national economy. As you will see, just like in the rest of the nation, the Erie economy has been gradually recovering from the pandemic although there are ongoing concerns about inflation and the possibility of recession. If you want to come prepared, read the latest issue of the ERIE Leading Index that provides important clues about the future course of the local economy.
