On Nov. 4, 2025, Daria Devlin was elected as the 49th Mayor of Erie, Pennsylvania. A lifelong Erie resident, Devlin prior served as an elected member of the Erie School Board, including as Board President, and recently served as the Director of Social Impact for the Hamot Health Foundation. On April 14, as she will have just over three months into her first year in office, having been sworn in Jan. 5, Mayor Devlin will discuss her campaign in 2025 and her governance in 2026, as well as her vision for the city under her leadership in the month and years to come.

On January 5, 2026, Daria S. Devlin was sworn in as the 49th Mayor of Erie, Pennsylvania.
Daria S. Devlin is a lifelong Erie resident, proud East Bayfront native, and committed advocate for health, education, and economic equity in our community. She recently served as Director of Social Impact for the Hamot Health Foundation, where she led efforts to address the social drivers of health through housing and neighborhood revitalization. With over 15 years in nonprofit leadership, Daria has led transformative projects across Erie, including building the coalition that successfully advocated for $14 million in state funding for Erie’s Public Schools during a critical funding crisis, founding the Partnership for Erie’s Public Schools, and establishing the Erie Center for Arts and Technology (ECAT), where she oversaw a $12 million renovation of the former Wayne School into a community resource center.
In addition to her professional work, Daria has served as an elected member of the Erie School Board, including as Board President, and sits on the boards of the Erie Western PA Port Authority, the Erie Land Bank, and Erie’s City Revitalization and Improvement Zone Authority. She is deeply involved in her church, organizing the annual Russian Troika Festival, leading the choir, volunteering at Emmaus Soup Kitchen, and coordinating support for the Overflow Homeless Shelter. Daria has been recognized for her work by the MLK Center, receiving the Dr. King Woman of Influence Award in 2024, and was named 2023 CEO of the Year by the Nonprofit Partnership.
A proud graduate of Erie’s Public Schools, Daria earned degrees from Colgate University and Edinboro University. She lives in Erie with her husband, Neal, and their three sons.
