July 16th,2026 | 4:00 PM - 5:30 PM
Speaker: Brian Freedman

Spirits have played a significant role in American history, from the whiskey that the Founding Fathers produced and the lasting impact of Prohibition all the way through America's leading role in the development of cocktails. In this session, renowned food and drink writer Brian Freedman will lead a tasting a wide variety of spirits that embody these mile markers along our nation's spirited journey. Whiskey, vodka, sotol—it'll all on the table and in our glasses as we look at the 250-year sweep of the country through the lens of these fascinating liquids.
