Sarah Bennett received both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Michigan State University. Both degrees were in Zoology/Animal Biology. She has been at several institutions as an instructor/lecturer including Eastern Michigan University, Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, and Mercyhurst University. With additional experience as a Campaign Manager at PennFuture and various positions held at Asbury Woods, including the most recent title, Executive Director. Sarah worked on projects associated with Mercyhurst University and Presque Isle State Park on various mammals present in Presque Isle, and research on cigarette litter reduction on in the state park. Along with her grant-funded research with Mercyhurst University and Presque Isle, Sarah has publishing experience and was in the Erie Reader 40 under 40 Class in the year 2020.

Patrick Miller earned his bachelor’s degree from Thiel College in history. He has a passion for learning and sharing knowledge, and does that through his work in nonprofits. Some of the recent positions Patrick has held are Manager of Corporate and Foundational Support at WQLN Public Media, Director of Development at Erie Regional Library Foundation, and the Executive Director of Community Access Media. His most recent position is at Asbury Woods with the title of Director of Development & Marketing. Patrick has robust experience in fundraising through grants, donors, and sponsorships.
