Making Sense of Erie County Residents' Dollars and Cents

Soon, Erie County Council will vote on the proposed 2024 budget. To review the budget, and understand what it means to Erie County taxpayers, join JES Decadean Scholar and Scholar-in-Residence Dr. Judith Lynch for a Special Community Conversation. Dr. Lynch, a five-term Erie County Executive, will introduce the program, highlighting why it is important for residents to know what the county's annual budget includes, and its impact to Erie citizens. Mr. Joseph Maloney, the founding partner of the Erie-based Maloney Reed Scarpitti and Company, LLP, which previously served as the accountant for the county, will then examine the details of the proposed budget.
