Main Street Economic Development: The Flagship City Food Hall as a Growth Model

Drew Whiting, the CEO of the Erie Downtown Development Corporation, and the EDDC team will discuss the way the Food Hall has been used as a tool for Main Street economic growth, give an update as to progress and impact of the organization, and answer any questions about the future of downtown. 

 

This event will occur at the Flagship City Food Hall; registration is limited and will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis. 

 

Admission is free, however attendees will be responsible for their own lunch at Flagship City Food Hall.

Drew Whiting, J.D.

Drew Whiting, J.D., lives in Erie with his wife Emily, an Erie native, and their five year-old twins. With a background in venture capital, corporate and securities law, real estate, and as an entrepreneur, Drew brings relevant experience to his role with the EDDC. Drew is also the owner of 1000 State Street and co-owner of Five Iron Golf Erie. He earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Notre Dame and a Juris Doctor with a concentration in tax and international law from Loyola University.
