Erie Together: Effectively Engaging the Community to Address Local Priorities

Erie Together, formed in 2009 and launched countywide in 2010, is a collective impact movement to achieve economic stability for all citizens of Erie County, Pennsylvania. The movement accomplishes its work by facilitating cross-sector alignment and collaboration to address local challenges and priorities and make the Erie region a community of opportunity where everyone can learn, work and thrive. Join Mary Bula, executive director of Erie Together, as she showcases Erie Together's impact over the last 15 years, highlighting select initiatives and inviting participation in current focus areas which include preparing students for life after high school, helping address transportation barriers, bolstering early childhood achievement, and more.

Mary  Bula, M.A.
Director, Erie Together

Mary Bula, M.A., has led Erie Together, a countywide collective impact movement to make the Erie region a community of opportunity where everyone can learn, work, and thrive, since April 2012. Before joining Erie Together, Mary was vice president of the Growth Partnership Division of the Erie Regional Chamber and Growth Partnership (ERCGP). Mary serves on a number of education and youth-related boards and committees. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Allegheny College and a Master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh Graduate School of Public and International Affairs.
