Rev. Charles  Mock, D.Div.
Retired Pastor, Community Leader

Servant Leader Charles Mock retired from official pastoral ministry in June of 2023. His pastoral ministry included Shiloh Baptist Church, Community Baptist Church and Second Baptist Church (Interim Pastor), all in Erie, PA.  

He also served as the former Executive Secretary of the Home Mission Board of the National Baptist Convention, U.S.A, Inc. for ten years. He co-directed the NBC, U.S.A.’s Hurricane Katrina’s Disaster Response.  

He is a graduate of Pittsburgh Theological Seminary where he received his Master of Divinity Degree and completed his Doctor of Ministry in “Prison, Public Policy and Transformative Justice” at New Brunswick Theological Seminary in New Brunswick, NJ. in May of 2016. 

He is a recipient of many awards,  plaques, certificates for his Social Justice Ministry through Community engagement. . 

He and his wife Jennifer are in their 50th year of marriage. They have been better than blessed with two children, Brentin and Kristin, and five grandchildren, Justice, Cerick, Jr., Camryn, Callen and Emory.
