Over 7 million Americans live with Alzheimer's disease. And with no cure, it's projected to nearly double by 2050. A type of dementia that affects behavior, memory, and thinking, Alzheimer's disease is the most common cause of dementia. Amid these challenges, there is a shift to move from simply managing one's medical decline to supporting their needs, focusing on remaining strengths, and giving dignity to their identity. Join LECOM Institute for Successful Aging's Dr. James Lin and Melanie Titzel, as they explores this topic and shift for those living with Alzheimer's and those supporting them.
