Karen Tumulty, a political columnist for the Washington Post, spent four years interviewing the Reagans' closest friends and associates before writing her critically acclaimed new book on Nancy Reagan, "The Triumph of Nancy Reagan." Released on April 13, the book draws on overlooked archives, letters, memoirs, and White House records.
The extensive biography covers tensions and breakthroughs with the former Soviet Union, Nancy's celebrated war on drugs, and the AIDS epidemic, which Ronald Regan ignored for several years before acknowledging it upon Nancy Reagan persuasion.
Tumulty holds a journalism degree from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School. She appeared at the Jefferson Global Summit in 2019.
