Rachel Pineo will be serving as an intern to the Jefferson Educational Society in the Summer of 2026. She recently graduated from Penn State Behrend with a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and minors in Legal Studies and History. She is passionate about history, community engagement, and research. Rachel has presented her work at multiple conferences during her time at Behrend, most recently at the 2026 ASEN Conference on Democracy, Nationalism and Freedom in Edinburgh, Scotland. She enjoys reading, taking walks by the Bayfront, and watching new movies in her free time. Rachel is also passionate about legal history and the criminal justice system. While interning at the JES, she will be working on studying for the LSAT, and hopes to attend law school next fall.
