A native and lifelong resident of Erie, Jamie received her bachelor’s in business administration from Gannon University and later received her master’s in organizational leadership from Mercyhurst University. A graduate assistantship, while pursuing her master’s degree, led to a full-time work opportunity in Human Resources. From that point on, she spent nearly two decades at Mercyhurst University where she held various roles in the Human Resources Department, ultimately leading to the Director position. She is also humbly proud of being recognized in Erie Reader’s 40 under 40 class of 2019.
After a substantial career in higher education, she chose to leave her role in Human Resources and shifted her focus to her growing family. Following a five-year hiatus from the workforce, Jamie joined the JES team in March 2026. This new role allows her to continue utilizing her background in Human Resources while also continuing to balance time with her family.
She and her husband Jay have planted roots in Erie where they raise their three children: Elijah, Paige and Milo, as well as their two dogs. In addition to her role at JES, Jamie stays involved locally through volunteer work with the PTO, her husband’s Eastside Tool Lending Library, as well as other events for her children. Traveling, local and unique eats, interior design, sunsets, and time spent with family and friends are some of her favorite things.
