Erie NextGen Leaders

erie nextgen leaders

The JES and GECAC have partnered to bring to the Erie community a youth civic leadership program for Erie youths aged 14 to 20. Participants of Erie NextGen Leaders will get the chance to meet and learn from local community leaders and elected officials, as well as work with other young and emerging leaders in the Erie community. The cohort will meet once or twice a month on Saturdays from 10 am to Noon at the JES on State Street. Bus passes will be provided to any students who need one. Graduates of the program will receive a certificate of completion at the graduation ceremony, along with a stipend and the chance to give a short presentation about a topic that they believe should be addressed in the Erie community.
