Harmony for the Holidays

Lake Erie Sound has been the only fixture of the Barbershop Harmony Society in Erie since the 1950s. Originally under the name of "The Commodore Perry Chorus", the chorus has competed at the district and international level several times. The chorus has a repertoire of songs from Billy Joel, the Turtles, Frank Sinatra, as well as many older tunes, all sung in four-part a capella. Lake Erie Sound is under the direction of John Donohue.  Men of all ages and any singing background are welcome to attend open rehearsals every Tuesday night at the Jefferson Educational Society at 7:30 p.m.
