The Erie Lions Club's Save an Eye Game: An 81-year Erie Tradition

This year the Erie Lions Club will present the 81st Annual Save an Eye Game.
This long-time Erie tradition enjoys a remarkable reputation as one of Erie's
finest and longest-running traditions and is one of the longest continually
running high school football classics in the country. Join us as we take a look
at the past 80 years of Save an Eye games as well as this year's game. We will
also highlight "Where the money goes" as well as the economic impact on our

Douglas K. White

Douglas K. White is entering his 24th year as Game Manager of the
prestigious Save an Eye Game. He is a past President of the Erie Lions Club.
White is an Erie guy born and raised in Erie, and has served his community
as a member of various Boards including the Erie Civic Center Authority,
Cathedral Preparatory School Board of Trustees, and JDRF Erie Chapter. White
serves as the Executive Director of the Iroquois School Foundation and the
Executive Director of the Association of Pennsylvania Education Foundations.
White is married to Kelly (Tarasovitch) White, and their daughter Olivia is a
freshman nursing major at Gannon University.
