In this part 4 of the JCLA Business Speaker Series: Resources for Building Resiliency during Uncertain TimesGary Sullivan, program director & assistant professor at Mercyhurst University's F.W. Hirt Erie Insurance Risk Management Program; and Rachel Tserkovniak, Human Resources consultant and trainer at the Manufacturer & Business Association, will supply the tools necessary for building a resilient business and the human resources tools that should be included in that effort.

Gary Sullivan MBA, CPCU, AIC, AIM, AIS, Program Director & Assistant Professor at Mercyhurst University of the F.W. Hirt Erie Insurance Risk Management Program

Mr. Sullivan is Responsible for developing the school's new risk management curriculum for the Walker College of Business in collaboration with the Ridge College of Intelligence Studies and Applied Sciences.  Degrees from Lake Land College (A.S.), the University of Illinois (B.A.), the University of Pittsburgh (M.B.A), as well as several insurance industry designations including Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter.  Areas of expertise include but not limited to: block chain, claims, property and casualty insurance operations, subrogation, claims management, legal liability, and property damage. Gary is sought out as an industry expert through speaking engagements and industry publications, plus he is known as an innovator as he was named one of "Fifteen People to Watch in Insurance Technology" by Insurance Networking News.

Rachel Tserkovniak, PHR, Human Resources Consultant and Trainer at Manufacturer & Business Association

Rachel has  7 years of human resource experience in both professional and manufacturing environments

Degree from Penn State University (B.A.) as well as several professional licenses and certifications including Associate Professional in Human Resources (aPHR) and Professional in Human Resources (PHR).  Areas of expertise include but not limited to: human relations, writing policies and procedures, change management, and IT Support and HRIS software.
