Great Books Discussion Group: Clashes of Culture
Is there a universal human nature that transcends the difference of cultures? Does power tend to decay and weaknes survive in human culture? Join us for an interesting and stimulating discussion featuring works by Doris Lessing, W.E.B. DuBoism Jonathon Swift, E.M. Forester. Class will meet once a week for 6 weeks from July 7 to August 11 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Cost $50 plus $5 for the book.
Corrine Egan has served as Executive Director for the NW PA Labor-Management Council and director of Special Events and Community Education at Mercyhurst University. She graduated from Mercyhurst with a business degree in 1980. She has served on the Board of Trustees for Metro Health Center, as a commissioner for the NW Regional Planning Commission, and is a past member of the Pennsylvania Commission for Women.
