Anything But Common:  The History of the Common Terns, a Seabird, and its Nesting at Gulf Point

Mary Birdsong will outline the history of common tern nesting at Gull Point on Presque Isle State Park from the beginning of the 20th century through today, when terns are returning to the point in record numbers and nesting. 2015 marks the largest colony the Point has seen in more than 40 years. Birdsong will let you know how they fared and what has been done to assist the terns in their efforts to recolonize Gull Point.
