American Short Stories - Session 3

September 27th,2018 | 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM
Professor/Instructor/Speaker: Marjorie Podolsky,M.Ed.

These stories, culled from the Scribner Anthology of Contemporary Short Fiction: 50 North American Short Stories Since 1970, "continue to haunt us. . . [as] stories that hold up to many readings, stories that refuse to offer easy answers and still seem to ask the right questions," write the editors. Participants in this course prepare by reading two stories for each session, raising questions that intrigue individuals and the group. Since there are no right answers, group discussion is enthusiastic and opinionated. New participants are welcome to come and share their insights.  Please email the course instructor at mjp3@psu.edu for reading assignments.
